STARS (Sustainable Fashion Startups) facilitate sustainable fashion startups in disadvantaged areas in the Noth-East Latvia and in the South of Italy through the engagement of vulnerable groups. The project implemented two training programmes about sustainable fashion and innovative business ideas, including online and offline training activities, theoretical and practical lessons, indoor and outdoor activities, online tutoring/mentoring, one international academy in Italy and independent project works, involving aspirant entrepreneurs with disadvantaged economic or social background.
The idea has been designed and developed by two associations focused on promoting and testing sustainable fashion practices. The proposal has been accepted for funding by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ funding instrument and the project run until December 2024.
During the project’s execution, Tree leads the design and development of learning instruments addressing CCIs operators and contributes to the project’s engagement strategy, delivering the following:
